NEC came up with the news of launching a LaVie Z Ultrabook some time before. But at that time there were not many details concerning the overall specs and features of the system. But now NEC has unveiled LaVie Z Ultrabook officially and disclosed more details on the specifications. The most interesting factor revealed about this new ultrabook is the inclusion of Ivy Bridge processors for better performance. 

NEC LaVie Z Ultrabook features a 13.3 inches display screen with a good resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. This wide LCD display with backlit options will help you enjoy movies and play games with a visual treat. We don’t have much information on graphics performance of the system to comment on it. This ultrabook comes with a weight of 2.2 pounds or 999g making it quite comfortable to carry around. 

Intel’s latest Core i5 3317U processor offers high efficiency with fast processing. Apart from the processing power, Windows (7) operating system provides a user friendly interface as well. Company also claims decent operating time driven by a standard battery and according to them, they have provided a Fan-cooling feature which will reduce heat and improve battery life. 

The connectivity and data transfer features with this NEC LaVie Z Ultrabook includes a USB 2.0 port option as well as WiFi option at 2.4 GHz speed. Apart from good audio and video play capabilities, this system comes with an integrated webcam as well. The audio options include a 3.5mm in and out option and stereo speakers. 

Keyboard as well as a track pad is provided to give data inputs with ease. The details concerning the internal and external storage features of the NEC LaVie Z Ultrabook are not revealed as of now. There is an option for Memory card reader. 

As of now the NEC LaVie Z Ultrabook will be available in Japan only. But we can soon expect its availability in other parts of the world too. This Ultrabook will reach the market in shiny silver outlook. The price detail of the gadget is not known at this moment.
