Debain Linux OS creator Ian Murdock passes away at 42

Ian Murdoch is known for creating the Debian Linus OS, one of the most popular open-source operating systems, passed away at the age of 42. Debian was started in August 1993 by Ian. Murdoch also worked at Sun and founded Docker, an app development company.

Debian was created by Murdoch when he was only a university student at Purdue. Debian is regarded as one of the most successful open-source projects. Ian Murdoch pioneered the open source movement with Debian. Murdoch's contribution to Open Source software has been invaluable and tremendous.

Debian - The universal Operating System is used by several organisations and governments who save money on expensive software by using software of the Debian Linux distribution.

Ian Murdoch passed away at the age of 42. The cause of his death remains unknown, though reports say that he committed suicide because of Police brutality and facing humiliation at the hands of the police. Ian Murdoch had threatened to commit suicide on his Twitter handle. Soon after which he deleted his Twitter handle. Some of the screenshots of the tweets have been online. Murdoch's family has asked for privacy at this point of time.
