Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 Release Update: Google Confirms Sales to Start Directly on November 13

Google has officially clarified that it will kick off sales of the much awaited Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 gadgets from November 13 onwards. The search engine giant has also made it clear that there won’t be any pre-orders for these devices around the globe.

As per their official PR spokesperson, the ‘Notify Me’ icon which is placed in their device pages in Google Play store will change to ‘Available for Order’ on Nov 13th. This was confirmed to Android Police. Reports also confirm that users may get their hand on the devices on the same day itself as Google is all set to start shipping them on the same day.

However the exact time on November 13 when these models will be made available for sales is yet not known as Google usually work on Eastern Time zone, we expect it to happen on 13 midnight. It may be recalled that Google had officially announced the availability of these models with the 3G version of their Nexus 7 tablet only some time back.

Google in one of their earlier statements had confirmed that Nexus 4 will be made available in countries like US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia and Spain by 13 of November. The tablet manufacturer LG also hinted at India receiving this tablet by end of November for Rs 20,000.

For international markets, the expected dollar price tag is $299 for 8GB. A 3G version of the Nexus 7 tablet is also expected to be released along with Nexus 4 for $299, the same price as Nexus 4. However, Nexus 10 tablet will have a higher price tag of $399 (around Rs 25,000).
