Panasonic updates CF31 and CF53 laptop models

Panasonic is out with updates to its Rugged Toughbook and Semi-Rugged Business Notebook line up by including the latest performance enhancing technologies with CF31 and CF53 laptop models. Improved performance, enhanced connectivity and longer battery life give better usability to Toughbook CF-31 and also CF-53 models, making them look much better than before.

 

Toughbook CF-31 is powered by Intel’s 3rd generation i5-3360M vPro processors at a speed of 2.8GHz, and with the addition of Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology, its speed may go up to 3.5GHz. Users can enjoy more processing power and operating efficiency along with good graphics performance, offered by the AMD Radeon HD 7750M GPU. Improved battery performance is another highlighting update as it will work efficiently for 14.5 hours with a single charge. The optional secondary battery extends the battery life up to 21 hours, as well. 

 

Good screen visibility can be experienced with Toughbook CF-31 even in direct sunlight. With Panasonic’s anti-scratch coating and also its resistance to drop makes it more reliable and durable. The system can be easily configured so as to improve the overall performance. 

Panasonic in integration with 3rd generation Intel Core technology provides Toughbook CF-53 with improved CPU and graphics performance and along with improved battery life. CF-53 Touchscreen is made available for users looking to work with touch screen interface in direct sunlight. CF-53 Automotive model serves the purpose of versatile tool for development, automotive research and also for workshop environments.

CF-53 models come with Bluetooth® 4.0 Smart Ready technology making it useful for mobile workforce. The Management Dashboard with these systems allows users for easily customizing to their preferred settings. Its compatibility nature with almost all peripherals ensures long term life cycle stability. All systems come packed with Windows 7 operating system. 

The CF-31 range will reach the market by July 2012, and the standard model will be made available at a price tag of around Rs.2,50,000/-. The CF-53 range will also reach the market by the same time and its standard model will be priced around Rs.1,00,000/-. They all come with a guarantee period of 3 to 5 years.
