Galaxy S4, S Duos, Core And Mega 5.8: Samsung Offering Special Discounts on Friendship Day
On the auspicious occasion of Friendship's day, the South Korean smartphone vendor has extended it's "Samsung Galaxy Own Now" campaign and has officially brought the prices of its lately launched four handsets.
As spotted by the folks at FoneArena first, the four devices are Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Samsung Galaxy Core and Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8. While, Samsung Galaxy S4 which was initially price at Rs. 41,500, it is now being offered at Rs. 34,000. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S Duos , Samsung Galaxy Core and Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 comes with a discounted price of Rs. 9,990, Rs. 13,200 and Rs 23,400 respectively.
Taking reference from the past records and strategies followed by many mobile manufacturers who brought down the prices of their older devices before launching another one, it seems the South Korean tech titan is also following the same strategy.
Moreover, Galaxy Note 3 and Smart Watch are also reportedly set for launch in the forthcoming IFA Berlin 2013 sometime around September 4. Hence, analysts are predicting that this could be one more reason why the official price cut has taken place.
Samsung has already ruled the samrtphone market in India and to be more precise, it owns the mid range phablet section to the roots owing to it's price range and a variety of choices. At the same time, Apple has also tried to break in the market several times but has not been able to reach the major smartphone hubs because of its higher price.
However, waves could change, after the Cupertino tech giant announces the long time rumored iPhone Lite or iPhone 5C which will supposedly the cheaper variant of the iPhone 5. Likewise BlackBerry had its chance to crack it open, but unfortunately it also could not go lesser than the price of Q5.
Nevertheless, since there are deep rooted Android fanboys in India, Samsung will keep flourishing. Thus, here below in the sliders is a brief rundown on the specs of the four handsets followed by the last slide which reveals the best buy among the four. Here have a look:
