Maybe it's not another unique laptop but it's certainly the one you would want to own. The new laptop edition from Samsung, Samsung RC 510 is a well built one with stylish design and glossy finish. With well built body panels the new laptop is definitely build so as to give it an affordable price tag. The track pad is not over sized and with a smooth finish, which is good and the multimedia keys are missing, instead common utility buttons are made available. The keypad is kind of isolated while the large high responsive mouse buttons is very convenient to work with.

The processor is an Intel Core i3 380M which was launched just three months before. The system CPU is dual core and is clocked at about a speed of 2.53 GHz. Samsung RC 510 works with a powerful 3GB DDR 1066 MHz RAM. For complicated graphics requirement, the system automatically switches to the NVIDIA Optimus technology embedded within but that doesn't comes handy when running a game, for then it will be the NVIDIA GeForce GT315 that will be providing the graphics support. With a 500 GB hard drive, the new laptop is enabled for bulky data storage.

The hard drive performance of the Samsung RC 510 is a notable one. It's just 25.4 mega bytes per second in the sequential read and a mere 20.2 megabytes per second in the non sequential transfer test.

A perfectly angled 1.3 Mega pixel camera is also provided.

The LCD display of Samsung RC 510 is kind of glossy but with decent colors. The screen size is a 15.6 inch. The 1366 X 768 pixel resolution gives it undisrupted frame transitions. The speaker grill of the latest laptop is provided along the top line of the keypad, covering the entire length having a power button well lit by a blue ring back light. The loud speaker facility in the laptop lacks a bass though it's really loud. However it is pleasing for the vocal ranges. A Realtek ALC269 OS is included in the laptop.

The lap top is provided with four USB ports. All connectivity provisions are enabled in the laptop with a LAN, Bluetooth and a WiFi. The video out options in the laptop consists of a VGA/DVI/HDMI. Its even geared with a memory card reader, which is known to support SD and MMC.

The review clearly highlights the fact that the configuration is well decided and arranged for the la top and for a similar class laptop its far more than better. Samsung RC 510 laptop costs Rs 39990 in the Indian markets.
