Samsung Unveils Budget Galaxy Music Smartphone, Packs Android ICS and dual-SIM Variant

Samsung the South Korean tech giant is expanding its product portfolio constantly with new smartphones. Today, the company has announced the launch of Galaxy Music, a music centric smartphone capable of delivering excellent sound quality with outstanding music player features.

Further, Galaxy Music is also available in a dual SIM version dubbed as Galaxy Music Duos.

Earlier reports suggested that Samsung will be unveiling the two smartphones on October 11, 2012 in Germany at a special event alongside Galaxy S3 Mini. However, Samsung unveiled the budget Galaxy Music Smartphone today itself. Let take a look at the new low-priced smartphone's key specs.

Specifications

Galaxy Music is an entry-level Android ICS smartphone from Samsung.

Dimensions and Weight: The handset boasts a dimension of 110.1 x 59.0 x 12.25 mm and weighs around 106.9 grams.

Display: Galaxy Music sports a 3 inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution.

Processor: As claimed by Samsung, the handset has a powerful processor that guarantees smooth and fast performance of undisclosed specs.

OS: Galaxy Music comes flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Camera: In terms of camera, the music smartphone has a 3MP rear camera without flash.

Storage: On the storage front, the smartphone has 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB.

Connectivity: When it comes to connectivity, Galaxy Music has Bluetooth v3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and GPS.

Battery: The handset is loaded with a 1,300 mAh Li-ion battery.

Other Features

Galaxy Music also features a built-in 9-lumen WVGA projector, front-facing speakers, an FM radio, and advanced audio features like Sound Alive and SRS technology.
