In an attempt to add more and more features to their budget Android tablet offerings, the manufacturers now have started introducing tablets with SIM card slots in order to win the tablet market race.

There are not many 3G tablets in the Indian market, when it comes to low price points, however, it looks like few tech manufacturers are now working on introducing new killer tablets in the category bringing on the competition to the next level.

Following similar lines, Swipe Telecom, a California based company and the maker of the first 3D tablet in the nation has recently come up with an Android ICS based tablet priced at Rs 11,999 and dual SIM support.

At the same time, Karbonn Mobiles, another company which is aggressively releasing new products into the consumer market has also come up with a 3G and SIM card supporting tablet dubbed as Agnee.

If you are planning to upgrade to a low cost Android ICS tablet with the voice calling feature, here is a comparison between the newly launched Swipe Tab All in One and Karbonn Agnee tablets.

Connectivity: In terms of connectivity, both the tablets come with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, in-built GPS and of course 3G (as they are 3G tablets).

Moreover, both the devices support a SIM card slot for voice calling and the Swipe offering is better as it has dual SIM capability.

Price: Swipe tablet is priced at Rs 11,999 and Karbonn Agnee will be priced below Rs 10,000.

Verdict

Both are low-priced Android ICS tablets with pretty decent specifications including Bluetooth, SIM card support, 3G and more.

Swipe Tab All in One comes packed with features like FM Receiver & Transmitter, G-sensor, GPS, Accelerometer, Flash support 11.1, Olive Office Premium, ebook Reader, Audio Recording, HD and 3D Games.

On the other hand, detailing on the Karbonn offering, the tablet comes preloaded with various applications such as Smart Browser, Karbonn Smart games, Facebook, TOI and ET apps. The Karbonn tablet supports 22 Indian languages.

If the concern is on a faster processor, a rear camera, increased internal storage options and dual SIM facility, Swipe tablet is a good choice.

However, if the concern is on the price of the device and regional language support, the Karbonn Agnee is a better option.
