Tablet PCs just got thinner and smarter. Presenting Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 & Galaxy Tab 750
Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 and 750 are the latest additions to the tablet segment by Samsung. Both the tablets have 3G connectivity and it seems Samsung does not have any plans to launch the cheaper Wi-Fi version soon.
India was one of the very first markets in the world to which these devices where introduced since the tablet market in India is booming very much and has a very good sales figure. Both the tablets are very thin and light, so it is very easy to carry them around.
Galaxy tab 730 has dimensions of 230.9 mm 157.8 mm x 8.6 mm and weighs in at about 465 grams. Galaxy tab 750 carries a bit more weight and weighs in at about 565 grams. The tablets, compared to other ones, are extremely thin and the designs of the tablets are quite impressive. They come in a glossy black and silver grey color finish with rounded off edges.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 and 750 have capacitive touch screens but they vary in their sizes. 730 have an 8.9 inch screen where as 750 has a 10.1 inch display. They have 1280 x 800 pixel screen resolution and the displays are of high definition type. The pixel density is about 149 pixels per inch and that is a very good figure .So you can watch full length movies in the device and can get a complete theatre experience with it.
Both the tablets have two cameras, a primary one and a secondary one. The main camera is of 3.15 mega pixel and the secondary camera has 2 mega pixel resolutions.
The camera has auto focus feature and also a LED flash which is an added advantage for taking pictures in the dark. The main camera can take pictures with a resolution of up to 2048 x 1536 pixels and features digital zoom. The main camera can also record videos with a resolution of 720 pixels. The secondary camera is mainly intended for video conferencing.
The devices come in a variety of internal memory options including the 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB versions. There is no card slot in the device so there is no external memory. The user has to there for select the version with the appropriate internal memory capacity to meet his/her needs. The system memory in both of the devices is 1GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 and 750 has a NVIDIA TEGRA dual core 1GHz application processor and this powerful processor ensure a one of a kind multimedia as well as web experience. It is expected to run on the Android Honeycomb platform. The devices are powered by a high capacity 7000mAh battery and can provide up to 9 hours of continuous video play in the device.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 and 750 are enriched with the latest TouchWiz UX user interface and it has a live panel menu in it. This option allows the user to display a whole range of contents in the main screen including pictures and social network feeds. The interface also features an application tray which contains the most commonly used features like task manager and music player.
They both are preloaded with a lot of applications including the ones for online readers and social networking. The price tag of Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 has a price tag of about Rs.33,900/- and Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 comes with a price tag of about 36,200/- in India
