The new Toshiba Excite 10 LE sports a 10 inch display with a LED back lit IPS screen which is a glimpse of beauty along with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. While the Toshiba’s new tablet is likely to be overshadowed by the iPad accompanied by the high resolution display. The Toshiba Excite 10 LE exudes a professional look with its 10 inch LCD capacitive multi touch screen powered by the OMAP processor powered at 1.2 GHz. The processor speed itself is a pleasure to hear for the gadget lovers. The tablet works on the android (version 3.2) Honeycomb operating system which can be soon upgraded to android version 4 ice cream sandwich as assured by Toshiba for its consumers.
The Excite 10 LE’s operation is backed by agility of the DDR 2 RAM of 1 GB. Toshiba Excite 10 LE impregnates an internal memory of 16 GB while its external memory can be extended up to 32 GB through a micro SD port. The tablet bears a 5 MP camera on its rear which is autofocus enabled and a secondary camera of 1.3 MP in the front for video calling. The tablet also bears a micro HDMI port for high definition viewing.
With a price of around Rs 26,000/- for the 16 GB model and around Rs 29,500/- for the 32 GB model, the tablet will hit the shelves of selected retail shops soon.
