Lenovo has a very big reputation when it comes to products related with computers. Rivaling Lenovo's own LePad A1-07 is ViewSonic Viewpad 7x. Both these tablets are decent performers. But if you require a rating with respect to their specifications, then a lot of stuff has to be taken into consideration. The ultimate choice of a clear victor depends on your interests and inclinations in specifications.

ViewSonic Viewpad 7x is a tablet with an LED display screen of 7 inches offering 600 x 1024 resolution and with 10 point multi-touch functionality. Lenovo LePad A1-07 also has a 7 inch touchscreen display with 600 x 1024 pixels resolution. Both the tablets run in Google's Android Operating Systems but of different versions. ViewSonic Viewpad 7x runs in Android v3.2 Honeycomb while LePad A1-07 runs in Android v2.3 Gingerbread. LePad A1-07 is equipped with a 1 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 3622 processor with 512 MB RAM and ViewSonic Viewpad 7x is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 Dual Core processor in a Qualcomm MSM 7227 chipset.

They are almost equally fast. But Internet surfing in the Viewpad is faster with its HSPA+ feature. If you like watching HD videos in giant HD TVs after downloading them using the tablet, then Viewpad would be the apt tablet among the two. This is because Viewpad 7x comes with an HDMI port which would be absolutely useful if you have an HD TV. The Viewpad also supports DLNA which enables you to connect to devices in the same LAN.

Camera specifications are also different for these tablets. But they both have primary and secondary cameras. LePad A1-07 is equipped with a 3 Megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. Not many information is known about the Viewpad's cameras except the fact that this tablet will be able to record 1080p full HD videos using its camera. Viewpad 7x supports almost all major video formats in its Video players including DivX and WMV2. LePad supports Mp4 but details on other formats it supports is not yet known.

LePad A1-07 and ViewPad 7x has integrated WiFi protocols and is compatible with 802.11 b/g/n Hi speed WiFi connectivity. Both of them are reported to have A-GPS facility as well. Lenovo LePad A1-07 is available in black, white, blue and pink colours and has a price in India of Rs 19,000/- approximately. ViewSonic Viewpad 7x is available only in Black colour and is expected to be priced at an estimated amount of Rs 28,000/- or less.
