VTech launches refreshed toy tablets

VTech is coming up with refreshed models of their already famous toy tablet models, MobiGo and InnoTab. However, the price of these refreshed toy tablets are not going to change despite the introduction of more interesting features. It will reach market with the labels VTech InnoTab 2 and VTech MobiGo2. These tablets won’t be featuring any Google’s Android OS but comes with an affordable price tag offering a stiff competition to other Android based gaming tablets.

VTech InnoTab 2 adds an onboard storage of 2GB and the memory expansion up to 32GB is possible with SD card slot support. It features a rotating camera for capturing stills and videos and also for playing AR games. The vanilla configuration of this tablet reaches the market shortly at a price tag of around Rs. 4,000/-. WiFi-equipped version will arrive later with Rs. 1000/- added to the base model cost.

InnoTab 2 tablet from VTech has a 5 inches display screen with which kids can enjoy lots of app and games like augmented reality games, one tilt sensor game, e-book, notes app, friends list, art studio app, calendar and calculator. There are apps for fun and utility. Various customizations options are possible like kids can create user name, avatar, typed greeting, voice greeting or else a photo wall paper using this tablet.

VTech MobiGo2 will come with an additional motion sensor along with a microphone adding to the gaming effects. The tablet is offered at the same price tag of its predecessor at around Rs. 3,000/-.

It is a handheld learning tool which can help kids play and learn. The newly added motion sensor and microphone add flexibility to the gaming control. It also functions as an e-reader, coloring book, photo viewer, photo album, art studio and users can enjoy three great games which come pre-loaded.
