ZTE T98 Tablet is a truly high end tablet with a sleek 7 inch display. The screen resolution is of WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels. It uses the Google's Android v3.2 Honeycomb operating system as well. ZTE T98 Tablet also comes with a SIM slot letting users make calls, supporting GSM 900/1800 & TD1 900/2010 frequencies. The big deal is the tablet's processor. ZTE T98 can be categorized as the next generation tablet as it comes with a Quad Core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor also known as Kal-El. Kal-El is the name of Superman's father. It is called so probably because it packs a lot of power, unlike anything you have ever seen in a Tablet till now.
The 11.5 mm thick ZTE T98 Tablet offers 16 GB memory on board and comes with 1 GB of RAM which is more than enough for incredible performance rates, working with the Quad Core engine. It is the first Tegra 3 Tablet and is supposedly the fastest tablet ever made. Obviously the tablet will be equipped with two cameras at the front and the rear sides. The front camera is a great 5 megapixel item offering impressive clarity to images and also features LED flash. Its video recording abilities are praise worthy.
The rear 2 Megapixel camera facilitates video conferencing purposes and in great quality too if you can ignore a slight lag. Although it has a cool Tegra 3 Quad core CPU, its clockspeed is actually low. It's under clocked to 1.3 GHz but you don't have to be concerned because even with such a clock speed, ZTE T98 Tablet is undisputedly fast. It has a great GPU and playing 1080p full HD videos is just a walk in the park for T98. With 4000 mAh powerful battery, the tablet will have the juice to work for 7 to 9 hours when fully charged. We couldn't get any word on the price in India and the release date of ZTE T98 but it sure is going to be a bit pricey but hopefully not too pricey.
