To embark its presence in the smartwatch arena, the Switzerland-based navigation equipment manufacturer is launching three smartwatch later this quarter. The smartwatch includes Garmin Fenix 3, Garmin Epix and Garmin Vivoactive. With smartphones almost reaching the saturation level, now the tech-giant's are moving to the wearables arena, which has been the hot cake for everyone over past few months.

Garmin Fenix 3 - Key Specifications
The Garmin Fenix 3 is basically a tracking watch - which features Garmin's GPS with added activity tracking options such as distance travelled, calories burned, sleep patterns, pace while running, cycling, or swimming. Like other smartwatches, it also receive calls, texts, and get email notifications, updating it with color display options and has an app called Connect IQ.
The three models include Silver with Red strap, Grey with Black strap, and Sapphire with Stainless steel strap. It is priced at £499(approx Rs. 47,687) and the sapphire variant will costs $599(approx Rs. 37,859).
Garmin Epix - Key Specifications
Garmin Epix, which comes in a square dial, supports options like altimeter, compass, and barometer. It comes with 8GB of internal memory with 1.4-inch color touchscreen display and water resistance. This smartwatch also supports phone notifications and Connect IQ app.
This device is packed with waterproofing up to 100 meters, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, 20-hour battery life, swappable straps, colour screen with an LED backlight, and a stainless steel bezel. It also carries a price tag of $549.99 (approx Rs. 34,699) and will be available in the first quarter.
Garmin Vivofit 2 - Key Specifications
Garmin Vivofit 2 is specially made for the fitness freaks. Vivoactive is made to track the fitness details with its in-house app called ConnectQI.
This water-proofed smartwatch supports notifications mails, missed calls, GPS, texts and calendar reminders via Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, the GPS system keeps a track of the user's activities like running, biking, swimming, and golf. The smartwatch will run for three weeks and on a single charge or up to 10 hours when GPS is activated.
The Garming Vivoactive is priced at $250 (approx Rs. 15,900) or $300 (approx Rs. 19,000) with the heart rate monitor bundle.
