CES 2015: Lenovo Enters Wearable Segment With Launch of Vibe Band VB10

Lenovo has marked its entry into the smart wearable sector of the market. The Chinese manufacturer has officially announced its lastest products in the annual Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2015, Las Vegas, codenamed as Vibe Band VB10 in its press event.

The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 smartband is said to be designed in such a way that it allows the users to live their lives hassel free and more connected. The unique band is equipped with features like E Ink display and has up to seven days of battery life even with display and Bluetooth always turned on.

The Vibe Band is waterproof and with its fitness monitoring functions, it will help its users to stay fit by monitoring their fitness levels and stay focus on their health objectives. The E Ink display also means that the display has a antiglare screen and will be crystal clear during a bright sunny day.

The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 can receive instant notifications for calls, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, WeChat and many other services. The display offers space for up to 150 characters for social media along with other texting apps.

The smartband is also equipped with proximity reminder, which helps in preventing phone loss by warning the users if their phone has reached a mark beyond its radius. A phone finder feature has been installed which activates a ringtone at the push of a button.

Lenovo Vibe Band runs on both Android and iOS mobile devices and the wearable will carry a price tag $89 (approx Rs 5,643). There seem to be no news on the availability of the product as of now.
