SensorWake, the Olfactory Alarm Clock  

It’s obvious from the name itself, this device will nudge you out of sleep just like any other alarm clock. But, unlike other alarms, SensorWake will use different fragrances instead of sound. Now, isn't that weird? Furthermore, it allows you to choose from different fragrances namely, fresh coffee, hot croissants, mint, peaches, and few other flavours.

Ehang 184, the Autonomous Aerial Vehicle

Built by a Chinese company Ehang, Ehang 184 is a human-sized drone capable of carrying a single passenger for shorter spans of time, i.e around 20 minutes at a speed of 96kmph. Now, what’s weird, you ask? Well, there won’t be a driver or any kind of controls in the drone, you have to enter the destination using a smartphone app the rest will be taken care of by the drone itself.

What if you can stick a camera inside a fridge and check what you’ve got in it using your phone even when you are not home? Well, with the Smarter’s FridgeCam you can do that. Additionally, it sends alerts to your phone when items in it are about to expire. Isn't this the weirdest gadget of 2016?

Davek Alert Smart Umbrella  

The Davek Alert Smart Umbrella is essentially an umbrella but with a tiny chip embedded into its handle. This tiny chip will broadcast the proximity signal from the umbrella to your smartphone via an app. What’s it for?

This umbrella sends a subtle alert whenever the distance between you and the umbrella exceeds approximately 30 feet. If you are that kind of a person who constantly loses his/her umbrella or forgets to take it with you on a rainy day, this is for you.

Designed for industrial purposes, this smart helmet projects useful visuals in front of the eyes of the wearer. Thanks to its hard hat it also doubles as a safety helmet.
