Google's Android TV Leaked Ahead of Official Announcement
Soon after Amazon Launched its Fire TV, now reports have arrived on the online world pertaining to a similar device from Google. In fact, the news come from The Verge, which has also put up a screenshots of the new upcoming product from Google.
Dubbed as a Android TV, the upcoming Google's service will in fact stand against the likes of Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku. Via a blog post Google says,"Android TV is an entertainment interface, not a computing platform," writes Google. "It's all about finding and enjoying content with the least amount of friction." It will be "cinematic, fun, fluid, and fast."

As you can see in the images above, the User Interface is completely different from the one found in Android smartphones and tablets. It is also reportedly said that the upcoming product will be made one easy to use device.

Moreover, the search giant has also called for developers to build apps whose simplicity can match that of the scrolling cards-based Android TV interface. Some of the major apps which will be available include Google Play Movies, YouTube, Hangouts, Netflix, Pandora, Vevo, etc. Also like the Amazon Fire TV, it will support video games. A simple remote control will come along with the device which will have a multi function which include games. The controller will also have Enter, Home, and Back buttons to help get around, and there will be "optional" game controllers.
It is reportedly said that the Android TV will also support voice input and notifications.
