Harman Announces 7 Wireless Audio Gears Including 3 Impressive Headphones

IFA 2013 is bringing about major devices to the world's notice. Unlike, Sony, Samsung and Asus who've launched various devices from tablets, laptops, smartphones and more, Harman has launched only its latest audio devices here at IFA 2013. To be more precise, it has launched 3 multimedia speakers, 3 Headsets and a wireless speaker, apart form a conferencing system. The American audio brand has actually proved its excellence in audio design innovation with this latest lineup that comes with complete new looks and features.

The three multimedia speakers come with equally attractive designs and the first one is called Onyx, comes packed with a connectivity features like Airplay, DLNA, Bluetooth (aptX and AAC) with NFC. This audio gear is priced at $499. JBL Spark is an indoor Bluetooth speaker priced at $130 and last of the multimedia speakers called JBL Pebbles is priced at $59 and it is a USB-powered desktop speakers with auxiliary input on board.

Moving on to the headsets category, Harman Kardon SOHO stereo headphone provides a high-frequency clarity and stunning bass quality. The gear is designed with application of leather and stainless steel and can fold flat down to less than 1.25 inches. Harman Kardon SOHO is also available with an optional remote control straight microphone cables, a universal remote/mic for Android users or an Apple iOS compatible remote/mic for users of iPhone.

The other two New AKG K845BT and AKG K545 come with noise isolation of a closed-back headphone with the spacious sound and feel of an open-back design. The AKG K845BT delivers the same outstanding sound with wireless Bluetooth connectivity. On the other hand, AKG K545 comes with a choice of detachable inline control microphone cables for both Apple and Android users.

Lastly, Harman Kardon Esquire is a new compact, all-in-one sound system. It is a wireless speaker and teleconferencing system with the right balance of sound quality and portability. The Esquire perfectly complements any mobile communication device from smartphones to tablets.

Harman Kardon Onyx

Onyx comes with a leather-wrapped standing circular design, compatibility with Airplay and DLNA, Bluetooth (aptX and AAC) with NFC paring and a six-hour rechargeable battery. The speaker uses the very own Harman's DSP and packs dual passive bass radiators for optimal low end response. A duo of three-inch woofers and 3/4-inch tweeters are housed in its enclosure, all of which are independently powered for a total peak output of 60-watts RMS. A stainless steel handle makes it easy to carry between rooms and there's a 3.5mm input to ensure your jams never stop pumping if wireless connectivity is an issue. Expect it to be available later in the year at $499 (Approx. Rs. 33,018.83).

JBL Spark Desktop Stereo Speakers

Aside from that centerpiece, two new speakers are coming out of the JBL division. Getting less serious, the $130 (approx. Rs. 8,602.10) Spark is an indoor Bluetooth speaker with a quirky transparent design that's shaped like a megaphone. The unit needs to plug into a wall for power, but features stereo output via two 40mm drivers, an inline controller on its fabric cable and a hook if you want to mount it to a wall.

JBL Pebbles Desktop Stereo Speakers

The brand's $59 (approx. Rs. 3904.03) Pebbles are a coupled pair of USB-powered desktop speakers. The enclosures can stand vertically or horizontally and pack dual 50mm drivers aided by DSP. An auxiliary input is also onboard for your mp3 player, as is a cable management system for when you need to pack 'em up. Both the Spark and Pebbles will be available in a range of colors when they eventually hit shelves.

The AKG K545 comes with a choice of detachable inline control microphone cables for both Apple and Android users. Bluetooth wireless streaming gets the music from your player to the AKG K845BTs, with an assist from Near Field Communication (NFC) that makes Bluetooth pairing as easy as pressing a button.
The AKG K545 features the same 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and rich bass, using the same AKG 50 mm drivers. Smartphone users will appreciate the two detachable inline control microphone cables, one for iOS users, and one for Android. The AKG K845BT wireless headphones are available in two color combinations, and the AKG K545 wired headphones come in four funky, fun colors.
