So far smartwatches haven't been able to prove their worth in the mass circuit. Despite their impeccable design, intelligent watches have seen as a mere accessory.

Everyone these days are talking about Apple's upcoming iWatch, which hasn't even been announced yet. But, at the same time, it is being constantly said that HTC's 'One Wear' watch could give Apple sleepless night.

HTC’s Android Wear Smartwatch Concept Render Hits Online

Taiwanese giant HTC has been busy giving final touches to its first ever smartwatch, due later this year. Gossip mongers have been constantly speculating that HTC's intelligent watch will be rounded, just like the Moto 360, but that might not be the case anymore.

Earlier today, Twitter leaker @evleaks posted a controversial mocked up image of the alleged HTC-made smartphone. The new HTC smartwatch image has shown off a square shaped dial, metal bodied design running a Sense UI themed version of Google's latest wearable OS.

"Hardware is 100% faithful reproduct in," says the tipster. But what is interesting about the intelligent watch is not its design, instead a Sense UI theme. Although the watch is seen running on Android Wear, but a Sense UI makes it different from the LG G Watch.

HTC is indeed preparing to launch the company's first ever intelligent watch later this year. However, if one asked to rely on the concept render, the watch isn't much appealing in respect of design. Also, the leaks have so far made no mention of critical hardware features.
