LG has rolled out two new LED pocket projectors under the Minibeam lineup. The main feature of their pocket projector lineup follows two cardinal features. Firstly, they are lightweight and secondly they all offer wireless connectivity.
The two new projectors launched by LG go by the names Minibeam Pro (Model PF1500) and Minibeam TV (Model PW800). While the former can provide you with a complete home theater solution the latter is a very good on-the-go solution.
Both the projectors are compatible with PCs, laptops and smartphones. They can wirelessly connect with smartphones, tablet PCs or laptops. The connectivity options on both the devices are very impressive.
LED illumination systems run approximately for an estimated 30,000 hours. This means you can use your mini projector for a long period of time without bothering to change it's illumination system.
The Minibeam Pro will provide you with full High Definition output. The luminosity of the device is 1400 ANSI lumens and it proves a diagonal display size of 120 diagonal inches. This projector is packed with some top end features also. You can adjust the optical zoom to conform the image size without having to compromise on sharpness. Wait! There's more! The MInibeam Pro can also wirelessly connect to bluetooth sound bars and speakers. If you have portable speakers and wireless headsets, they are welcome too. All these features bundled into a body weighing only 1.5kilograms.
The lighter Minibeam TV weighs around 600grams has a bit smaller dimensions and consumes a bit lesser power. The output resolution of the Minibeam TV is 1280x800 WVGA and provides a diagonal display of upto 100 inches.
Both the models will be available in the US and Korea. The availability of the PF1500 and the PW800 will be available to the rest of the world very shortly. The prices of both the projectors haven't been disclosed by the company.
