LG unveils Ultra HD TV and WebOS Cinema 3D TV At India Gadget Expo 2014
Last year, LG introduced the first curved OLED technology in India, and now the South Korean tech manufacturer has unveiled a new Ultra HD TV line up along in the country along with the first Web OS technology based smart LED television at the India Gadget Expo taking place in Hyderabad.
As per the company press release, the new Ultra HD TV range incorporate In-Plane Switching (IPS) panels and offer 4K resolution (3840 x 2160). The new range also boasts 3D control feature which makes it possible to adjust the degree of 3D of the viewing content.
Further, LG teamed up with Harman Kardon to provide the latest forward-facing 5.2 multi-channel sound system. Also, the UB9800 comes with SD, HD or Full HD content and Ultra HD quality.

In addition, there is Tru-ULTRA HD Engine Pro, which supports a technique called 4K Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC), which ensures that all 4K Ultra HD content appears lifelike and free of motion blur.
Further, the TV comes integrated with the WebOS platform with an intuitive Launcher Menu, a user interface that presents users with entertainment options and assists in organizing utilities into a neat viewing history.
The Launcher comes with an integrated 3D World, a Web Browser and the LG App Store that has on offer latest movies, television shows and games. This television has a cinema screen design and an ultra slim profile, with finger gesture control. Globally LG has sold more than 1 million units of Web OS enabled smart TVs since the launch in March 2014.
Also, the Ultra HD TV new models are available in different screen size of 84, 79, 65, 55, 49 and in price range of 1.5 to 15 Lakhs. Moreover, the new WebOS Cinema 3D TV is available in 42, 47 55 and 65 size options, in all leading outlets starting June 2014, in price range of 82,900 to 15 Lakhs.
