Microsoft’s All-in-One Multimedia Keyboard Comes with Integrated Trackpad
Microsoft, best known for Xbox gaming console and Windows Operating system, is also widely known for producing great looking PC peripherals.
The software giant today introduced a new wireless keyboard with integrated trackpad.
The All-in-One multimedia keyboard is primarily targeted at Smart TV users. Of course, being a multimedia keyboard, it can be connected to tablets and other connected devices.
With the latest AIO multimedia QWERTY keyboard, users can control smart TVs and set-top boxes by clicking and typing from far away.
The keyboard connects via proprietary RF connection rather than Bluetooth. It has a small USB dongle that plugs in and instantly pairs with select multimedia device.

The company says, the All-in-One Media Keyboard will work with Windows 8.1, 8, and 7; Windows RT; Mac OS X 10.7 through 10.9; and Android 4.03, 4.12, and 4.2.
SlashGear got an early hands-on with the keyboard. Here's an excerpt from the story.
"The AIO Keyboard has all the buttons you'd expect for a Windows keyboard, including Start and the various charms that Microsoft added for Windows 8. However, there are more generic volume and media playback keys too, which will be supported cross-platform".
Microsoft says the All-in-One Media Keyboard makes it super easy to access and navigate all that content from the comfort of your couch.
The new All-in-One Media Keyboard is currently available in the US ($39). There's no update as when Microsoft will release the product in India.
