Motorola Launches Moto Stream: Tiny Portable Wireless Adapter For Speakers
Motorola on Tuesday quietly announced a new portable wireless adaptor that plugs into a speaker or stereo system.
Dubbed the Motorola Moto Stream, this small sized device that plugs into a standard headphone jack on a speaker or stereo system and allows you to connect a smartphone or tablet or even a computer of your choice via Bluetooth to wirelessly stream music. Now it is possible to play music from apps like Spotify, Pandora and Google play as well.
"With Moto Stream you can wirelessly listen to your favorite songs in all their glory from your home stereo system - no expensive upgrade required", Motorola on Monday said through its official Blog post.

The Moto Stream can pair with up to five devices to control any speaker. Also, there's a Heist Mode which basically lets you control the stream the way you wanted. There's no set up as such, the Moto stream is universally compatible with all Bluetooth devices. Yes indeed, the Moto Stream is compatible with iOS, Android and Windows Phone - based devices.

Motorola also promises 300 feet of Bluetooth range with the Moto Stream. The tiny device measures 57mm tall, 60mm wide and 69mm deep and weighs 100 grams. The Moto Stream can pair with a device over NFC just by tapping the two together.
Motorola Moto Stream is now available in the US at a price of $50 (about Rs. 3,000 approximately). However, there's no word on India launch as yet.
