MWC 2015: Huawei TalkBand B2 with 0.73-inch Display Announced
Chinese handset manufacturer Huawei has started its event in style by announcing the successor of TalkBand B1 in MWC 2015 today. Code named TalkBand B2, this wearable which can be used as both fitness band and smartwatch comes with major improvement over its predecessor.
Now, with this wearable, users will be able to swipe through screens showing the time, as well as a stopwatch, sleep tracker, pedometer and calorie monitoring.
Talkband B2 sports a 0.73-inch AMOLED display and supports a Bluetooth headset which can be used to make voice calls. On the charging department, it houses a microUSB port, unlike USB2 port which is equipped on Talkband B1. Moreover, this fitness band uses Bluetooth 4.1 to connect to your smartphones. As of now it supports iOS and Android platforms.
This TalkBand B2 runs on Huawei's proprietary OS and powered by a 90mAh battery, which offers 7 hours of talktime, 5 days on average use and 12 days standby-time. Moreover, the Talkband B2 comes with 6-axis sensor, which detects your activity like walking, running or cycling using your speed and distanced traveled and assess the results against goals you have defined in Huawei's companion app.
This TalkBand B2 comes in two variants, namely leather and Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Anyhow, the leather variant is only a splash resistance, meanwhile the TPU variant is rated under IP57, which will work under 1m under water, marking up to 30 minutes
Coming in a choice of Black, Silver and Champagne gold, the price of Talkband B2 price is not yet officially announced.

The company also revealed, it is expected to cost around between £149 (approx Rs. 14,181) and £199 (approx Rs. 18,939). However, it is probably clear that if you choose for the champagne gold and leather edition, the cost will probably go for a little more.
