EXCLUSIVE: Huawei to unveil Honor Band Zero in India on Sept 28, along with Honor 7
Huawei is all set to showcase the new Honor Band Zero smartwatch apart from launching the Honor 7 smartphone under its Honor brand in India. The company is hosting a product launch event in Goa, during September 27-29, where in it will launch the Honor 7 smartphone, and showcase its Honor Band Zero smartwatch that was first unveiled in July this year.
Huawei has been in news, mainly due to its upcoming Nexus device, reportedly to be called the Huawei Nexus 6P, which is scheduled to be launched in Google's event on September 29.

The company's Honor series of device has done quite well for the company, since it brought the first Honor smartphone last year. Huawei has already launched the Honor 6, Honor 6Plus, Honor 4C and Honor Holly devices in India, and now is all set to bring the flagship Honor 7 that was initially launched in China back in June.
Key Specs and features: Honor Band Zero, and Honor 7 smartphone
In terms of specs, the Honor Band Zero features a circular design with brushed metal bezel. It is equipped with pedometer for tracking steps, and sleep tracker, among other features. The watch has IP68 certification which makes it dust-proof and water-resistant.
The new wearable can also show message notifications, incoming calls, and other app notifications, but there is no detail about whether it can be used to answer calls as well. The Band Zero with available in Black, Beige, and White colours.
Speaking of specs of the Honor 7 smartphone, this is an all metal body phone with a Kirin 935 octa core SoC with 4 A53 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz each and 4 other at 1.5GHz, 3GB of RAM, 20MP f2.0 rear camera with Sony IMX230, PDAF, 6 stack lens and Sapphire Glass for protection. It features a Touch Fingerprint Sensor, bundles in a separate Payment app to make payment using the Touch Sensor and NFC, and runs on a 3100mAh battery.
It is powered by Android Lollipop 5.0 with EMUI 3.1 on top. Huawei had introduced the device in China for 1999 Yuan (approx. Rs 20,000) for the 16GB model with standard 4G LTE, and 2199 Yuan (approx. Rs 22,000) for dual 4G, and 2499 Yuan (Rs 24,999) for 64GB variant. Considering that Huawei has earlier launched its devices at slightly higher prices in India, we are expecting the same this time around as well.
