iBall Splendo Powered by Windows 8.1 Launched at Rs 8,999

Recently, the Redmond giant Microsoft collaborated with iBall to launch a PC stick which runs full Windows similar to that of the Intel Compute Stick. Dubbed as iBall Splendo, this device can be connected to TV or monitor, which will turn it into a PC.

Further,on the specification front iBall Splendo is powered by a Quad-core Intel Atom processor with Intel HD graphics, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, with an expansion slot via microSD card slot. On the software front, this stick runs on Windows 8.1.

Moreover, this device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, multi-channel digital audio support and USB port. Coming with 1 year warranty, the iBall Splendo comes at a price of Rs. 8,999 and will be available from July across IT and TV retail channels.

Commenting on the launch, Vineet Durani - Director Windows Business Group, Microsoft India, said, "The iBall Splendo is for people who love devices and want to be connected all the time using multiple form factors. These users are tech enthusiasts who love gadgets, have access to multiple TVs at home, love the Smart TV experience and use Windows for browsing, social networking and multimedia consumption."
