Lenovo Stick PC 300 with Intel BayTrail chip and Windows 8.1 launched in India at Rs 9999
Lenovo becomes yet another mobile manufacturer to launch their own version of Stick PC in India. A new market for Stick PCs in India was unveiled by the Intel Compute Stick in July this year. Since then many other manufacturers have joined the Stick PC bandwagon including local OEM i-ball and Taiwanese Asus to name a few.
Lenovo Stick PC 300 sports similar internals as seen in other compact HDMI stick PCs available in the market. Sporting an Intel BayTrail Z3735F SoC under the hood along with a 2GB of RAM the Lenovo Stick PC is definitely now the fastest around, but it won't be sluggish too. For multitasking there is 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of expandable storage via MicroSD card slot.

In terms of ports the Lenovo Stick PC 300 comes with a HDMI, micro USB 2.0 and a full Sized USB which can support USB pen drives/ hard drives. The device is charged using the micro USB 2.0 port while the HDMI port is used for connecting to a monitor or TV. For connectivity the Stick PC 300 comes with Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n built in. The Stick PC runs on Windows 8.1 and can be upgraded easily to Windows 10.
The Lenovo Stick PC 300 is priced similar to the Intel Compute Stick at Rs 9,999. However unlike the Intel model which is available via Flipkart, the Lenovo Stick PC 300 retails via the official Lenovo TheDoStore in India. The first units will start shipping from 25th of September. The i-ball Splendo Stick PC will be the main competitor to the Lenovo flavoured one, considering the fact that it cost Rs 1,000 less.
