OnePlus 2 unveiled, coming to India on Aug 11: Key specs and features
OnePlus 2 has finally been unveiled today at a unique VR launch event. The phone maintains the standards set by its predecessor, and boasts high-end specifications packed in a premium design. Let's take a look:

Talking of the specifications of the phone, OnePlus had already revealed a few specs details of the phone. Rest of the specifications of the OnePlus 2 phone are in line with rumored reports.

The design of the OnePlus 2 combines metal and plastic, and looks premium. The phone boasts a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the Snapdragon 810 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It will be available in a 16GB variant and a 64GB version.
The company has placed a slider button, dubbed as Alert Slider, on the left side of the phone. A user can customize the functionality of the button on the phone to use it as per their preference, and get the kind of notifications they want.
The home button placed at the front of the phone integrates a fingerprint scanner, which as per the company is much faster Apple iPhones TouchID sensor technology.
As for camera, the OnePlus 2 flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1.3microns lens for better imaging even in low lighting conditions, Optical Image Stabilization technology, f2.0 aperture and 4K video recording capabilities. It is coupled with dual-LED flash and has a laser autofocus feature. Up front, you get a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Talking of software, the phone runs on Android Lollipop with Oxygen OS skinned on top. Other features include of a 3,300mAh battery.
Connectivity options in the phone include of dual 4G SIMs, a USB Type-C port, which the company had revealed already, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
As for pricing and availability, OnePlus has launched the 16GB variant of the phone has been priced at $329 (Approximately Rs. 21,110) and the 64GB for $389 (Approximately Rs. 24,960). The company also announced that the OnePlus 2 will go on sale in India on August 11.
