"We will also have some amazing giveaways on our social media channels along with our partners for the Loop VR headset. Make sure you keep an eye out for them and participate," said Vikas Agarwal, general manager-India, OnePlus, in a statement.
"With the OnePlus 3, we're upping the ante. We believe we, and the tech industry as a whole, have only scratched the surface of what can be done in VR, and there's much more immersive experiences to be had," added Carl Pei of OnePlus in a blog post.
OnePlus made available 30,000 units of its VR headset for free on its website and these were out of stock in a jiffy.
OnePlus has partnered with AntVR to make the Loop VR headsets which is upgraded from last year's cardboard version.
