Sony Confirms Report on Playstation 4 Neo: All You Need to Know
Recently, the Japan-based company Sony has confirmed that the reports about its next generation Play Station console. Indeed, this was confirmed by Andrew House, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment in an interview with the Financial Times.
The next console is called as "Playstation 4 Neo"
Dubbed as Playstation 4 Neo, this console will have a upgraded graphics, faster processor and also supports 4K contents. Morever, Andrew also claimed that, this console will be expensive than the current one.
Designed for hardcore gamers
As per house, this console is designed for hardcore gamers and it is expected to support 4K TV sets. According to the reports, the developers have to create two versions of each game, one that could run on the current PS 4 and other in Neo.
Doubtful for E3
If the rumour turns out to be true, Sony will not introduce this new console in E3. "All games will support the standard PS4 and we anticipate all or a very large majority of games will also support the high-end PS4", said Andrew House to FT.
Microsoft to showcase Slimmer Xbox in E3?
On the other hand, the Redmond giant Microsoft is working on a new console, that is expected to be the four times as powerful as the current Xbox One. Anyhow the sources suggests that this will be the smallest version of the Xbox One. Codenamed, Scorpio, this gaming console will not see its daylight till 2017.
