ZTE and AT&T Brings ZTE Mobley, The First Vehicle Wi-Fi Hotspot Device

Mobile handset maker ZTE and American multinational telecommunications company AT&T has jointly announced the universal plug-in Wi-Fi hotspot for motor vehicles dubbed as ZTE Mobley.

This device makes use of the car's OBD II port, which allows up to five devices for the wireless internet connectivity. All you need to do is that, plug the device in the car and it automatically turns on, when the car is started.

Moreover, this device is powered by Qualcomm MDM9215 chipset inside it. Further, this device makes use of the port which is features in almost all the cars.

Basically, this OBD a.k.a On-Board Diagnostic II Port gives the vehicle owner or repair technician access to the status of the various vehicle subsystems.
