South Korean tech giant Samsung has been circulating in rumors for many devices. The launch of Galaxy S4 does not mean that the mystery knots are untied as the company is yet to announce the other upcoming devices.
Two devices that were subjected to numerous speculations and rumors are the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3. Most of the rumors about those two devices were speculating the specifications, but now there seems to be a different one all together.
Yes! There is some information on the launch date of the upcoming Samsung phablet and tablet.
According to a recent SamMobile report, a Samsung insider has tipped that Note 3 will launch at the IFA Berlin tech trade show later this year alongside the new series of Galaxy Tab tablets.
This is not the first time for Samsung to make an announcement at the IFA as the company has been doing that with Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2. The report also adds that Galaxy Tab 3 will not issue more software updates to its predecessors and the second generation Galaxy Tab will remain with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Talking about Galaxy Note 3, its predecessor was announced at IFA 2012 in August 2012 at an Unpacked event a day prior to the debut of the tech fair. Hence, it is logical to expect the company to unveil the Galaxy Note 3 in the similar style this year. At the same time, as Galaxy S4 was launched in just 10 months after the announcement of Galaxy S3, there is a possibility for Samsung to introduce Galaxy Note 3 well ahead of IFA.
Earlier rumors have also pointed that Galaxy Note 3 will have a 5.9 inch or 6.3 inch full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel LCD display and run on Exynos 5 Octa processor to supply ample performance. Other than some of these rumored features, the Galaxy Note 3 remain a mystery.
Coming to Galaxy Tab 3, previous reports suggest that Samsung is prepping on three tablets with model numbers GT-P3200, GT-P5200 and GT-P8200. Of the trio, P5200, is rumored to be the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 with a listed display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and P8200 could have a 10 inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 1.7GHz dual core Exynos 5 chip and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The last one rumored to be in the Galaxy Tab 3 lineup is P3200, which is speculated to sport a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 or 1024 x 600 pixels.
At the end, if the rumor turn out to be factual, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 might arrive not at the show, but at a dedicated Unpacked event just before it opens. The IFA show in Berlin opens on September 6 and runs until September 11.
