Samsung has launched Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame, that were rumored to come at MWC 2013 this week. Galaxy Young is build as an affordable handset packing 3.2-inch display with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a single core 1GHz processor, 3.0MP rear camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and 1,300mAh battery. Further, the handset also supports dual SIM feature.

On the other hand, Galaxy Fame boasts a 3.5-inch display, 5MP rear camera, VGA front facing camera, 1GHz single core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, 2G, A-GPS, optional NFC and a 1,300 mAh battery. Like Samsung Galaxy Young, Fame is also a dual SIM smartphone.

Intex has also jumped to the bandwagon of making Jelly Bean smartphones by launching Aqua Wonder. Priced at Rs 9,990, Intex Aqua Wonder comes with a free 4GB micro SD card bundled in the package, a carrying pouch and a screen guard.

Detailing on specs, Andi 4.5q has a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and 245 ppi pixel density, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, micro SD card slot, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and a 2,050mAh battery.

Karbonn Smart A111 has been spotted on online retailer Flipkart with a price tag of Rs 10,290. The handset features a 5 inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display, which could either boast a with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels or 960 x 540 pixels, 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Scorpion processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, micro USB, GPS, Bluetooth and a 2,100 mAh battery of unknown backup.

The Byond B66 phablet is said to be priced at Rs11,499.

As of now, there is no information on the interal storage capacity of the handset, however, it could be around 4GB as the other budget phablet offerings.

HCL ME Y3, ME V1 and ME U2

HCL has launched three Android ICS tablets in India over this week - ME Y3, ME V1 and ME U2. All three are 7 inch tablets with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolultion. ME Y3 is a dual SIM tablet, ME V1 has a single SIM slot for voice calling and ME U2 has no SIM card slot for voice calling. The tablets are priced at Rs 11,999, Rs 7,999 and Rs 5,999 respectively.

Launched with a price tag of 6,770, Etab Xtron has made its way to online retailer Flipkart at a price of Rs 6,499.
