Sony has released it's light and smart new cybershot camera in India finally - the DSC WX300. With a dimension of 96mm x 54.9mm x 25.7mm and weight of just 166g, it is claimed to be the world's smallest and lightest camera, DSC WX300 is to be made available in India from mid-May onwards, for Rs 19,990.

The camera comes with 18.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor which is said to enable shooting detail-packed stills and movies, even indoors or in dim light. DSC WX300 features high-quality G Lens with 20x optical zoom which can handle wide-angle landscapes, portraits and dramatic close-ups.
The camera lets you add up to 9 different creative effects to stills, movies and panoramas. DSC WX300 comes with Optical SteadyShot Active Mode which is said to enable smooth and steady video clips in Full HD, even when you're walking or zooming.
Optical SteadyShot of camera allows you to take crisp, blur-free still photos, as it eliminates handheld wobbles. Further, the camera comes with a high-resolution 3.0 inch Clear Photo LCD screen that automatically adjusts brightness for sunshine or dull days.
DSC WX300 is said to be capable of taking 500 shots from a single battery charge. The camera's BIONZ processor allows high-speed continuous shooting at 10 frames per second. You can capture extra-wide panoramic images by just pressing the shutter button and sweeping the camera.
Last but not least, you can share your photos and videos using Wi-Fi feature of the camera. You can also use your smartphone as a handy remote to control the camera via Wi-Fi.
