Sony Launches 2TB PSZ-HA2T High Speed Portable Hard Disk Drive At Rs 16,706

Sony has launched its latest portable hard disk drive (HDD) with a model number PSZ-HA2T in India at the price of Rs. 16,706. You might be wondering why the product is such expensive. It has a storage capacity of 2TB.

Sony PSZ-HA2T HDD is in fact targeted at users who need high-speed and highly reliable data storage for back-up and transfer of content in the field. The PSZ-HA2T HDD has a transfer speed of 120MB/second and is ideal for transfer of content even with formats like 4K.

This product falls in the company's line of portable storage drives which comes in all shapes and sizes from 500GB to 1TB (PSZ-HA50 and PSZ-HA1T) and a 256GB solid state drive (PSZ-SA25).

Technically, the product comes with a USB 3.0 port and two FireWire 800 ports and a stackable form factor to dispel heat. It is IP5X and IPX4 certified which means that it is a dust and splash proof and it features a silicon cover and hard casing allowing it to be used in a range of environments and conditions.

The PSZ-HA2T drive is compatible with Windows and OS X (Mac) operating systems. The HDD comes with pre-installed formatting software, allowing users to switch between HFS+, NTFS and FAT32 formats.
