Japan tech giant Sony has announced that the steel-edition of Smartwatch 3 will hit the store shelves in this week across the world. This Smartwatch 3 steel edition was announced back in CES 2015, last month, which was held in Las Vegas. The pricing of this wearable is not yet announced, as we expect it in the upcoming days.

SmartWatch 3 sports a 1.6-inch TFT LCD capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 GHz processor with 4GB internal memory alongside 512MB RAM. It is waterproofed with IP68 certification. It runs on Android Wear platform and supports connectivity options like WiFi: 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC along with few sensors includes Accelerometer, Compass, Gyro. Powered by 420mAh battery it can be used up to 2 days on typical usage and up to 4 days on standby.
Additionally, the company has also unveiled SmartWatch 3 "holder" kit, which will be available in the coming weeks. This holder kit will allow the consumers to use any 24mm watch strap with SmartWatch, not just the official ones provided by Sony.
