Following the launch of Mi 4i, the Chinese handset maker Xiaomi also launched the Mi Band at its global smartphone launch event in New Delhi. Initially, Mi Band was first launched in the Chinese market last year.
The catch here is that, Hugo Barra, Vice President, Xiaomi announced that, the first 1,000 units of the smartband will be on sale for just Rs. 1.
This Mi Band comes with a fitness tracker along with a 30 days battery life and IP-67 certification which makes it a water and dust proof device.
This device is compatible with both the platforms like Android and iPhones via Bluetooth 4.0 and also boasts a set of sensors that monitor your fitness and sleep.
This Mi Band also acts as a proximity unlocker if you have your Xiaomi smartphone device. For example, if you have any Xiaomi smartphone in the same hand as the band, the smartphone gets unlocked automatically without any unlocking gestures.
Priced at Rs. 999, Xiaomi Mi Band can be registered through company's official website mi.com and will go for sale April 28.
