Assassin's Creed IV to have Co-op Play Hints Ubisoft Survey
One of the popular game titles of Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed III was released recently. Now Ubisoft has already started to gather ideas for the next title for the series. They sent out a survey to users world-wide giving us a rough idea of the model that the company would be following in the next title. It needs a little bit of reading between the lines.
The survey did ask for a wide array of gamers’ opinions. However, one particular question caught our eyes and if we have interpreted it correctly, it could bring about an entirely new mode of gameplay in the next game- co-operative play. The survey question asks if players would like another person (‘a friend’) to join and play the game to help out.
The other questions covered in the survey were basic and mostly pertaining to Assassin’s Creed III. The company was trying to gauge the players’ response to the sequences, story line, combat, gameplay and so on. The survey also included questions which asked the gamers’ choice of potential protagonists. It had questions regarding the interest of the players to see Connor’s return and also return to the Frontier.
Ubisoft had confirmed the issue of an anthology set for Assassin’s Creed, earlier this month. The company also gave the details of what would be covered on the Assassin’s Creed Anthology set. Its console versions have already been announced, but nothing has been mentioned about the PC version. The set, which is slated for release by this month end is expected to cost around Rs. 10, 430.
The release window of the first biggest DLC which is part of the Season Pass of Assassin Creed III has also been announced by Ubisoft. The DLC, set for a mid-December release, is part of the ‘what-if’ missions which feature an evil George Washington.
