Battlefield 3: Aftermath Official Trailer and Release Date Confirmed

Battlefield 3: Aftermath, the upcoming game from developer Electronic Arts is all set to hit the PS3 stores on November 27. The company has already released a trailer for providing users with a brief overview of what to expect from the game.

The most notable feature is the addition of a new game mode which differs in its characteristics from the previous modes which were introduced in this game series.

The new game mode is dubbed ‘Scavenger’. The new trailer features the aftermath in a post-earthquake region. The players will be only provided with a knife, side arm and a single grenade. Gamers will have to take extra effort for finding better weapons which is the only way for them to beat other players, so as to move ahead in the game. This assures tense match-ups in the latest Battlefield game.

There is more offering from the game in addition to the Scavenger mode. There are a lot of downloadable content available with the new game. Three new vehicles have also been included in the game. Sources report that a total of ten new assignments are included with this game, offering players with unlimited and thrilling gaming experience.

Four new maps will also feature in Battlefield 3: Aftermath. Only two of the maps were officially named by the developer as per the sources. It includes the Epicentre and Markaz Monolith Maps. One of the most interesting new features included in the game is the crossbow weapon. Sources suggest Battlefield 3: Aftermath to be made available for PS3 users by November 27.

PS3 subscribers will be the first to enjoy the latest version of the game. However Xbox 360 and PC players will be able to get this game only by December 18 which is almost one month after the game is released to the PS3 subscribers.
