Battlefield 4 Release Date Set to October 31, Coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC
Battlefield 4 was unveiled in the Game Developers Conference, which was held last month. There was news that the 13th installment to the Battlefield series would be released by fall of 2013. EA released multiple teasers, before it was finally revealed in the grand event, which was held in March 26, 2013. The exact date was however a not confirmed by veteran game publishers.
There was a fresh development, last weekend, as Battlefield 4 was spotted on Xbox official website, along with it's release date, which was slated as October 31, 2013. Does this mean, the game will be launched for other platforms, on the same date, as well? Apparently so, as EA's official German Facebook page, lists that the game will be launched for PCs, Xbox 360s and PS3s on the presumed date.
The date can be somewhat confirmed, based on the official Facebook, but then again, there is no official announcement from EA, regarding this. As for the game, it's looks fantastic, with realistic action sequences and a mega-load of destruction, easily the highlight release of the year, for the game maker.
Meanwhile AMD has announced that it would be including Battlefield 4 in their upcoming 'Never Settle' bundle - a collection of games, that is to come as promotional items with AMD graphics cards.
"[Partnership between AMD and EA DICE on the Battlefield 4] was presented at the Game Developer Conference, and the AMD Gaming Evolved logo already appeared online in the context of the game. You can expect that Battlefield 4 will be part of [future] Never Settle bundles," said Roy Taylor, corporate vice president of global channel sales, said in an interview with Heise.de web-site.
