Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 multiplayer revealed with New Trailer [Video]
Activision together with Treyarch has revealed a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 multiplayer. The two minute trailer sheds a brief view on the multiplayer gaming for the first time since it was announced in February 2012. The trailer does not seem to showcase anything special compared to the previous versions of this game. But users can feel a bit of comfort with the latest series being optimized to run at 60 frames per second which is an enhancement compared to the previous versions that run on 30 fps.
How optimized is the game for PC?
Black Ops 2 is using the same engine as its predecessor Call of Duty. We are expecting that the engine has been now optimized better for PC compatibility in this new version. The latest version of Black Ops 2 is expected to face stiff competition from even the existing Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 3 and Electronic Arts ‘Battlefield 3’.
It is for sure that users will be comparing the latest game series with above games list. It remains to be seen as to how the new version has addressed one of the drawbacks of its previous version, which is richness in graphics. Electronic Arts ‘Battlefield 3’ and ‘Medal of Honour: War fighter’ games are consider more advanced in graphics owing to their latest generation Frostbite 2 engine.
Improvements in the new version
Since Black Ops 2 is now optimized to run at 60 fps, its predecessor version ‘Call of Duty’ has clearly lost the edge over its latest version and other similar rivals having 30 fps specification. The trailer does convey some new additions in this new game version including the inclusion of new weapons and new ‘Killstreaks’ with which players can call and control mechs and hover-drones. Another unique feature expected with the latest series of Black Ops 2 is the return of Tomahawk.
Other than these few additions, everything else remains the same. It is also still unclear regarding whether this game will feature large scale combat vehicles that got featured in Battlefield 3.
