Nintendo introduced a slightly bigger version of their popular console Nintendo 3DS XL few days back. Now they have confirmed the introduction of new Circle Pad Pro gaming pad for the XL version of the Nintendo 3DS, called Circle Pad Pro XL. The exact release date is not confirmed yet, but there is rumour that this new gaming pad will be introduced first in Japan.

Circle Pad Pro gaming pad for the actual Nintendo 3DS was released firstly in Japan last December. It is a plastic cradle which easily fits the 3DS. The Circle Pad Pro works well with the Resident Evil Revelations game which was bundled along with it when it was released last year. The game pad is compatible with many popular games. The impressive list of games include Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy (Japanese version only), Metal Gear Solid 3D, Dynasty Warriors VS, Kid Icarus: Uprising (supporting only left-handed people), and also the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D.

The new Circle Pad Pro gaming pad is going to be a necessity as the XL version won’t fit into with the old one. It is seen that there is no idea like including a second pad on the gaming console itself. The earlier game pad itself was a little bulkier in appearance giving an idea like how the XL version will look like.

Not many details concerning the larger version of the controller is revealed as of now. The gamers can very well expect a splendid gaming experience when it hits the shelves soon. There is no news about its availability outside Japan as of now. The pricing information of the new Circle Pad Pro gaming pad is also not confirmed now.
