Brett Ratner is now directing a half-hour television cartoon series based on Farmville, the online game. Brett Ratner in a joint venture with Six Eleven Media, a Canadian Television Production Company, is working on the making of this animated television series. Brett Ratner will also be the executive producer of the TV series.
FarmVille is a popular video game which attracts millions of fans every day. It is quite popular in Facebook with so many people playing the game and sending in requests to other friends to help them build dams and other elements in the game. It is not clear, at the moment, on what the show will be about and the age-group the show caters to. It is for now assumed that the show will be aimed at kids with a number of tie-ins.
There are also hopes for Zynga that the game will appeal older fans too. The cartoon series for now is presumed to be something based on farming with a lot of agricultural and green elements meant to educate the kids. Farmville was launched in the year 2009 and is now one of the famous games in Facebook. A sequel for the game was released recently.
The gamers, while playing this game, have the option to create a virtual farm, filling it with animals and other items and also crops. As of now there is no network attached to the Farmville show. There is also no information about its date of release or when it will go on air. Anyway entertainment is guaranteed for fans.
