Mobile gaming giant Gameloft will soon be launching a hack and slack RPG game for mobile platforms. The game titled Wild Blood will be released soon for iPhone, iPad and Android based devices. A new trailer has been released as a teaser to the game by Gameloft. Wild Blood will be running on Unreal 3 engine.
The third person action game features an interesting screen play. The mission of the player will be to save the denizens of King Arthur’s kingdom from the attack of demons. Gaming proceeds from the perspective of Lancelot – whose love affair with the Queen awakes vengeance in King Arthur. The king joins hands with evil sorceress Morgana to make Lancelot’s life difficult. Lancelot has to fight his way out with weapons and also various special abilities.
3D Visual effects
From the teaser of the game, it seems to be having amazingly exceptional graphics and visual effects. The powerful Unreal 3 engine unleashes itself in this impressive 3D game. The game features an elaborate single player campaign and player vs player arena which will test the power of the engine. Wild Blood will be the first game from the shelves of Gameloft to use an Unreal 3 engine and this might add to the price factor of the product.
$240M Sales Expected
The trailer showcases a variety of weapons and special powers for the main character. The game seems to have some similarities with Chair Entertainment’s Infinity Blade. Infinity Blade was the first game for iOS which used an Unreal 3 engine. So some striking similarities in visual effects can be expected.
Gameloft is hopeful about the reception of the game and is expecting to close out 2012 with sales exceeding 240 million dollars. The official date for the release has not yet been revealed by the company. In the mean time you can see what is in offer by watching the teaser video.
