Mass Effect 3: BioWare unveils Special Edition for Nintendo Wii U

Gaming developers BioWare along with EA has announced Mass Effect 3 Special Edition for the newly released Nintendo Wii U gaming console. The special edition of this game is designed especially to work its best with Nintendo Wii U.

Among the major enhancements, Nintendo Wii U GamePad can be used by players for having a more tactile control over the combat. The game will also feature an interactive content that has been introduced as something extra in the special edition of this game. The interactive content provides players with the back story of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

The touch screen GamePad can be used for activating and customizing the actions for the team/players. Enemies can be viewed on the tactical mini-map using the touchpad. More to it, players can command the squad members to move using the GamePad. This is achieved by a point and drag method towards a new location in the GamePad. There is another option for switching the game view from TV to GamePad which will allow users to continue playing on the Nintendo Wii U gaming console. The game also includes more interesting bonus content such as interactive motion comic Genesis II developed by Dark Horse Comics.

Special Edition games being released for Nintendo Wii U by BioWare includes Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut and Mass Effect 3: From Ashes which is packed with single player DLC content. The game multimode player mode however includes three post release content packs such as Resurgence, Rebellion and Earth.

The game is straight away available for $60 (approximately Rs.3,200) in US where as it will be soon made available on Europe and Japan once Nintendo Wii U console launches on those regions. Users can be assured of the power packed adventurous gaming experience with Mass Effect 3 Special Edition on their gaming console.
