Microsoft Announces Price Cut For Xbox 360 in India
If you have been waiting for the Xbox 360 price to drop before upgrading to the Xbox One, well, it looks like there's some good news. The Xbox 360 4GB price will available for as low as Rs. 12,990 in India, Microsoft announced today.
In a bid to keep up against Sony's PlayStation 3, Microsoft has announced rather steep price drop for its Xbox 360 console. The price reduction applies to the Kinect-free base system and two bundles with Kinect system.

The standard 4GB Xbox 360 without any bundled game, is priced at Rs. 12,990. One bundle is available in a package with a Kinect and the Xbox 360 250GB. It is priced at Rs. 29,990, down from Rs. 31,990. The other bundle includes the Xbox 360 4GB console and the Kinect system. The original price of the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect, which released just over a year ago, was Rs. 26,990.
Microsoft also announced the Xbox 360 500 GB model in India at Rs. 19,990. The special packaged bundle includes, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts game, and a free one month of Xbox Live Gold membership. You can grab the Xbox 360 at special price via Amazon.in.
Just one year ago, the Xbox 360, gamers had to shell close to Rs. 15,990 for the basic version with 4GB of internal storage (without a Kinect system). But now the software giant is offering some sweet deals on the ageing home console.
Meanwhile, Sony's PlayStation 3, which has constantly outsold the Xbox 360 in India (as per unofficial reports), starts from Rs. 16,990 onwards.
