Microsoft Celebrate 10th Anniversary, Offers Special Xbox 360 Consoles to Live Veterans

Microsoft Xbox Livegaming service is popular among Xbox 360 gamers. However, only a few knew that this online gaming service was in existence from 2002 onwards. Microsoft has come up with a surprise for users who subscribed this online service ten years ago. Reportedly, Microsoft has announced that they will provide special edition Xbox 360 consoles for free to them. The image released by Kotaku even shows one of the Xbox Live special edition being offered to these users featuring decorations and box art. 

Most of the industry analysts were skeptical about the images being released until Microsoft Xbox Live officials confirmed that special consoles will be made available for ‘members that have been with us the longest’. However, reports indicate that not all the users will be receiving this special console. It is still not clear about how Microsoft will determine the loyal users who will be getting the console. Users will have to wait and watch on this. 

Some of the key features of Special Edition Xbox 360 include a special box, colour scheme, custom controller and a disc tray door. The device will also have of a special ‘XBL10’ plate.
