Sky Force 2014 Arcade Shooter Released For Android, iOS
Great news for arcade-based shoot 'em up fans. According to reports, Polish developer Infinite Dreams has just released a brand new sequeal to its smash hit from 2004, Sky Force, on Android and iOS platforms.
And if you didn't know by now, the classic arcade shoot ‘em up title was among the most popular PDA games 10 years ago, and that's the primary reason for mobile gamers to look forward to the game.
"The mobile blaster legend is back to celebrate its 10-year anniversary in super-destructive style," the official page states.
"Harnessing the intensity of classic arcade shoot-'em-ups combined with the hottest smartphone technology, Sky Force 2014 offers a stunning scrolling shooter experience with an incredible new social gameplay element."

The latest shooter in the series will now put players in the boots of a lone fighter who battles across vertical shooter levels. Sky Force 2014 has been developed keeping in mind all other arcade shoot' em ups in the same level out there.
Hence, players can expect huge boss fights at the end of each level, along with a regular yet complex upgrade system.
"Sky Force has been the jewel in Infinite Dreams' crown for a long time, and it's a franchise we care very deeply about. We knew we had to create something extra special to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary, and we're very proud of how Sky Force 2014 has evolved," explains cofounder Marek Wyszynski.
"Although we worked hard to make sure Sky Force 2014 meets all the expectations that fans have after 10 years, it was important for us to deliver something brand new to the experience as well."
"We wanted to give the game a social element that didn't conflict with the scrolling shoot‘em'up concept. We're incredibly excited to see the reactions to the new weekly tournament system that we've developed to meet this need," concluded Wyszynski.
Sky Force 2014 is currently available for free download for both Android and iOS.
