Sony PS Vita 1.8 updates for new PS1 classic games
Sony PS Vita is receiving a new update which would let users enjoy the most popular PS1 classic games. Sony had promised this classic game support and also a Remote Play last year itself. Though not much information was revealed, Sony has finally announced the availability of these features with the new software update. As per the information coming in, users can directly download the update on to the Sony PS Vita from the official site itself.
PlayStation Vita as everyone knows, has lots of gaming options. One of the drawbacks was its lack of support for playing the classic games that made the original PlayStation popular. The new update is expected to enable users enjoy more than 700 classic PS One titles.
As per the reports, not all games will be available at a stretch, but they will be introduced in a phased manner over time. Final Fantasy VII and Tomb Raider would be probably the first batch of PS1 games coming on to this Sony gaming console once this update is done. These old school PlayStation titles will surely improve the overall gaming experience with this Sony gaming console.
Sony PS Vita was in the news recently when it got a YouTube application allowing streaming of HD videos. Sony PS Vita will be more powerful as well as popular with this new update.
There is no idea like the specific date of release of this Sony PS Vita 1.8 update. Along with this update, there is another update coming up related to the compatibility feature of the gaming console. Both these updates will arrive shortly in the upcoming weeks, in Japan.
There is however no information regarding the availability of these updates outside Japanese market as of now. The support for classic games has been a long term wish of PS Vita users. The company is finally fulfilling their wish through this PS Vita 1.8 update coming to you shortly. We are yet to confirm whether there is any pricing impact on this new update to existing as well as new users.
