Xiaomi has introduced a Bluetooth Mi gaming controller in China recently. The Mi gaming controller features analogue stick, D-Pad, A,B,X,Y buttons, two buttons on the either side of the shoulder. In front, it has two buttons along with the MI logo and is powered by a 2xAA batteries.
The Mi gaming controller supports Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity from Broadcom and is compatible with Mi TV, Mi Box, Mi phones, tablets and doesn't need any app or driver to function. It carries a dimension of 65mm thickness and weighs around 220grams. Coming in Black variant only, it has 3 axis gravity sensors made by Bosh, can last up to 80 hours of game play and packs dual vibration motors for vibration feel. Moreover the Bluetooth enabled controller can work up to radius of 10m.
According to the company, this controller has ergonomic design with thumb stick which has 360 degree field of precision and accuracy of .172 degree. The outer body is made by South Korean giant Samsung and supports almost all the android devices. With intelligent power management feature, it will go into standby if its not active for more than 5 mins.
The Mi Bluetooth Game controller is priced at 99 yuan (approx Rs. 981) and will be available on official Xiaomi site in China. There is no official announcement about the global roll-out.
